1866/1988: Group of twenty-one covers, including six registered and
a registered cover front; good blend of rates, destinations,
postmarks, and frankings; noted 1873 cover franked with 10 c. green
(Scott 36) sent to Italy taxed and with 1 l. 60 c. postage dues;
also two 1930 Football World Cup incoming mail First Flight covers,
one from Canal Zone and the other USA, franked with US air mail
stamps; a scarce and mostly fine selection. Additionally a Pluna
airlines collection 1958/88 presented upon forty-two album pages,
comprising philatelic material as well as ephemera and collectables
including commemorative covers, special/first flight envelopes,
stamps including two unaccepted 1978 artist handpainted essays,
photo postcards, tickets, timetables, routes, schedule and tariffs
leaflets, plane safety cards, advertising brochures, stewardess
pin, table set with matches and spoon, also limited edition medal
from the 1961 25th anniversary, a fascinating and substantial
accumulation. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate
