"SMYRNE TURQUIE" cds, upon arrival on reverse by "Beirut, July 6,
1857" datestamp of the US consulate. The cover was taxed upon
arrival with '10' décimes. Very rare US consular datestamp, only
four covers known, all from 1857, signed Nakri. Provenance:
