Sudan to Messina, Italy, dated 28 February 1884, cancelled by a
"SOUAKIN" circular datestamp in black, with an additional strike
alongside. Superficial soiling and two insignificant corner bends.
A fine and scarce usage (H&G 1 Egypt). The 20 p. brown card was
never adopted for use in Sudan. The first overprinted Egypt
stationery for use in Sudan was from the 1897 issues H&G 3, 4 &
