Collection The lot includes Encyclopédie de la Poste Maritime
Française, Volumes I–IX (Salles), presented as the James Bendon
reprint set of nine volumes in excellent condition. Also featured
is The Private Ship Letter Stamps of the World, Part I (1976), with
the reprints tipped in and the priced catalogue, along with Part II
(1981–82, CRAWFORD medal 1982), which has minor water stains on the
cover. These volumes are special editions in half-leather.
Additionally, Part IV, The Letter and Parcel Stamps of the Finnish
Shipping Companies by Connell (1993), is included as number 26 of
50 in half-leather with stamp reproductions, some spotting, and a
dust jacket. Also present is Nederlandse Scheepspost II by Delbeke,
a two-volume set published in 2004 (CRAWFORD medal 2004). Volume I,
hardbound with a dust jacket, was issued in 1998, while Volume II,
also hardbound with a dust jacket, dates from 2002. Both volumes
are in excellent condition. Catalogue des Marques de Passage
1661–1875 by Van der Linden (CRAWFORD medal 1994), together with
the 1998 supplement, is included in a hardbound blue cloth edition
from 1994, both in excellent condition. The collection is completed
by Paquebot Cancellations of the World by Mike Dovey & Keith Morris
(2010)
