1919/24: FIUME COLLECTION. Album pages containing unused adhesives: general issues, postage due stamps, special delivery stamps almost all of them in complete set. General mixed conditions, all unused hinged and some with toned or brownish gum. Collection with some surcharged stamps not guaranteed in the first two pages, but also some stamps showing varieties. Viewing is highly recommended. Certificates (7) and expert signatures. In 1919 the italian poet Gabriele D'Annunzio, with his legionnaires, established an autonomous administration until the formal italian sovereignty over Fiume, established by the Treaty of Rome in january 1924 between Italy and Yugoslavia. All the adhesives overprinted and issued were replaced by the Italian ones after march 1924.
