1912/16: Extraordinary page showing "Tibetan Stamps now in use in Tibet" with fine unused examples of the first issue 1/6 tr. deep bright green, ⅓ tr. in deep bright blue, ½ tr. violet and ⅔ tr. bright carmine - endorsed in manuscript One, Two, Three and Four Annas respectively; and superb Proof of the 1/6 tr. imperforate printed in bright violet with manuscript at right "(One Anna) 1st Proof printed at Kalimpong on May 1912" (signed) "S.W. Ladenlal", and, below imperforate ⅔ tr. Proof printed in deep suffused blue shade, again with manuscript at right "(3 Annas) 1st proof, August 1912" (signed) "S.W.Ladenlal". An extraordinary page signed S.W. Ladenlal and dated "15.7.16" at base. All adhered to the sheet with selvedge from the current Indian ½ anna. A unique page. No other example of the Proof of the ½ tr. value in this colour suffused bright blue ink is recorded by this describer.
