1828 (Nov 12): Printed "University of London" ticket / card for admission to a lecture, sent openly as a "Post Card“ within London to Temple, blue Twopenny post marking and handstruck "2" in black on address side, reverse with oval "LONDON / 12 NO / 1828“ datestamp in red on the printed reverse side. Extremely unususal and early "postcard" use, and very possibly the earliest use in existence.
