1896: 40 c. black & blue-green, 1900 5 c. black & green and 10 c. black & deep rose, all used on 1908 thick photographic postcard sent registered to Sweden tied by "KASONGO" cds's (April 6) and by square "R" handstamp in black. Leopoldville transit cds (May 5) nearly a month later below; with four line cachet of sender: "Sous Lieutenant Arrenhuis, Force Publique" in violet. Together with a second registered photographic card from this correspondence bearing 1896 15 c. black & yellow-brown and 1900 50 c. black & olive, and a third 1909 card registered with 25 c. black & blue and 40c. black & blue-green also used from Kasongo (These cards probably took less time to travel to Sweden than they did from the Interior) also a fourth card with photograph of the Swedish sender mailed with 1909 15 c. adhesive on 10 c. orange stationery card. Small imperfections but a charming group.
