Balance of the collection, Salmon fishing; 1851/98: Interesting Group eight covers / entire letters incl. fully prepaid 1851 stampless Envelope from Bergen to Sogndal, most likely with the steamer Bjørgvin to Sogndal, manuscript note "Betalt", struck upon despatch by crisp "BERGEN 30/9 1851", 1868 two 'Salmon fishing covers', both directed to London, re-directed to Malvern, one from HEGRE on the Stjørdal river, bearing Vapen 4 sk. blue in two pairs and 1 sk. black, the other from STØRDALEN on the upper part of the Stjørdal river with Vapen 8 sk. in a pair & 2 sk., 1869 quadruple rate entire letter from LEGANGER to Aurland bearing strip of four Vapen 4 sk. blue, 1879/86 two cover fronts to London with handmade drawings related to 'Salmon Lord' William Warren Vernon and the Mandal river, 1889 cover from LEGANGER to Ladvik, also 1898 postal card from Høidalsfjorden to Bergen written on bord of the yacht 'The Monarch' of the 3rd Earl of Jucie visiting Norway for salmon fishing. Of varying quality. The lot includes also 31 stamps / pieces with fine central strikes from three-circle numerals onward on Skilling and sans-serif Posthorns, all related to the Sognefjord area.
