1843 (Aug 1): 30 r. grey-black, intermediate impression, the famous used block of nine from top left corner of the sheet and showing full vertical marginal line at left, Second Composite Plate, State A, positions 1-3 / 7-9 / 13-15; with large margins all round, these restored at top and at base, ironed bends, cancelled by six strikes of the "PERNAMBUCO SHIELD" datestamp (29 Jan 1844) in black (Ayres fig. 1586).
