Comes with another album page which contains a selection of Coil stamps from the 1 d. carmine issue, comprising two vertical pairs - one showing Run N of ONE (8/60) as the upper unit partially obscured by Melbourne VIC cds., two singles with coil join and an example on a cover front. Multiple Crown and C of A, OS overprint in black, unused interpanneau printers imprint part sheet of 108, Officially Repaired resulting in the overprint variety the "Hollow S" on pos. 8/47. The repaired sheet consists of an upper sheet: 7/31-60 and 8/43-60 and a lower sheet: 5/31-60 and 6/31-60. Additionally, exhibiting a number of plate flaws on both upper and lower sheets, including, Wattle Line corrected third state (*L1), flaw under neck second re-entry (*L7), Ferns retouched (*L24), RA joined retouched (*L30), break in left frame 3.5 mm. from top retouched (5/31), broken top to Crown (5/38), white scratch behind kangaroo (5/49), notched NE corner (5/59), white spot in SE corner (*R24), white spot on L of AUSTRALIA (*R25), kangaroo's tongue out re-entered (*R26), run N retouched (*R30), notched NW corner (6/40), deformed shading in oval "E" of POSTAGE (6/59), and ASH sans-serif imprint block of four. Fresh colour, fine appearance, large part og. with the usual imperfections found on a piece of this size. Impressive and rare. Upper half BW 82(OS)(4)fb, hc, ib, ja, s, t & ua. 1914/20: Group of seven covers and three pieces all franked with 1 d. carmine-red (shades); four which feature plate varieties including; rough paper Dash on Y of PENNY (4/41) with toning and damaged bottom right corner sent to Brisbane with a machine cancel dated 28 MAY 18, smooth paper Ferns (7/54) tone spots Queensland machine cancel dated 22 JUL 16, smooth paper RA Joined (7/60) in fine condition with Hawthorn VIC cds. dated 4 FE 18, smooth paper NY Joined (8/25) with damaged top left corner in pair with 8/31 with Sydney machine cancel dated 1 NO 1921; and also two Tasmanian OHMS envelopes with T perfin which have been re-used (paper shortage) with additional franking on top of the original; and a machine made envelope used OHMS with rough paper Perf. OS vertical pair and three pieces with multiple frankings on top of each other; one with 5 stamps layered on a piece which has been circulated three times. Condition is mixed. Useful assembly. Provenance: (of items on piece): Ex Italian find.

Multiple Crown and C of A, unused bottom frame block of sixteen (2 x 8), pos.1/3-4 to 45-46, the bottom six rows showing the frame flaw Notch in base Frame. Exhibited in position 1/16 under EP of PENNY, 1/22 under NN of PENNY, 1/28 under N of PENNY, 1/34 under V scroll 6½ mm. from the bottom right corner, 1/40 3½ mm. from bottom right corner and 1/46 under second N of PENNY. Fresh colour, fine appearance, large part og. with just a hint of toning. Scarce very limited printing, which illustrates the 6 clichés with notches. Comes with a vertical pair from the coil machine, both with the notch flaw (1/22 & 28). Important multiple. BW 82(1) df, da, & db = $ 1'050+.
