A fresh and fine entire. Provenance: Collection "Cihangir" (Herry Schaefer), Corinphila sale 121, April 2000, lot 1939 Automatisch generierte Übersetzung: Türkische Dampfer Co. 1847 (Mai 1) : vollständiger Brief von Smirna nach Syra, Griechenland gestempelt bei der Aufgabe mit feinem Ellipsenstempel "AGENCE/DE SMYRNE/P.P. "Stempel in blau, anscheinend aber nicht übersichtlich taxiert 10 lepta in Rötel auf der Vorderseite; rückseitig mit SYRA Ankunftsdatumsstempel (Mai 2) in schwarz. Ein frisches und feines Ganzstück. Hellenic Steam Navigation Co. 1863: Entire letter from Smirna to Volos struck at upper left with oval framed handstamp with Greek language "AGENCY OF THE HELL. STEAM NAVIGATION IN SMYRNA" cachet with Steamship vignette struck in watery blue ink. The Company was formed at Hermoupolis on the island of Syra in 1856 and covers are rare. Provenance: Collection A. Galinos, Nov 2002 Automatisch generierte Übersetzung: Hellenisch Dampfschifffahrt Co. 1863: vollständiger Brief von Smirna zu Volos Abschlag oben links mit Ellipsenstempel Handstempel mit griechisch Sprache "Agentur des HELL. Dampfschifffahrt IN Smyrna" Stempel mit Dampfer Vignette Abschlag in wässerig tintenblauem. Das Unternehmen wurde gegründet zu Hermoupolis auf der Insel von Syra in 1856 und Umschlägen sind selten. Asia Minor Screw Steamship Co. 1867: Austrian Levant 10 s. blue, three examples used on registered cover from Smirna to Constantinople tied by "LLOYD AGENZIE / SMIRNE" circular datestamp (Nov 9) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 8) and in manuscript ink, struck at base with three line "THE ASIA MINOR / SCREW STEAMSHIP CO. / SMYRNA AGENCY" in black. Turksih negative seal at right "Olunmishdir taahud" (it has been registered) in black and reverse with "Lloyd Agenzie / Costantinopoli" cds (Nov 11) of receipt in black. Small imperfections to adhesives but a remarkable and extremely rare cover for the specialist, an Exhibition item. Illustrated in Ringström & Tester "The Private Shiop Letter Stamps of the World", Volume 2, page. Provenance: Collection Gordon Torrey, Corinphila sale 99, June 1997, lot 9632. Blau, drei Stücke verwendet auf Einschreibebrief aus Smirna nach Konstantinopel übergehend gestempelt mit "LLOYD AGENZIE/SMIRNE" Kreisdatumsstempel (Nov 9) in schwarz (Tchilinghirian fig. 8) und handschriftlich Tinte, unten gestempelt mit Dreizeiler "die Kleinasiens/Schrauben Dampfer CO./Smyrna Agentur" in schwarz. Türkische Negativsiegel rechts "Olunmishdir taahud" (es wurde eingeschrieben) in schwarz und rückseitig mit "Lloyd Agenzie/Costantinopoli" Datumsstempel (Nov 11) von Quittung in schwarz. Kleinen Schönheitsfehlern zu Briefmarken aber ein bemerkenswerter extrem seltener Brief für den Spezialisten, ein Ausstellungsstück.
