1969: "Kingdom of Libya" definitive set of 20 values printed by Bradbury Wilkinson from 1 m. to 85 m. in small format and four values: 100 m. to £ 1 in large format, the set was initially printed in circa February 1969 but cancelled due to the September (al-Fateh) Revolution that led to the fall of King Idris and brought Colonel Gaddafi to power; the astonishing sets as listed in Sassone but with additional unlisted values: 2 m. value in pink and a 45 m. value in bright blue. The low values in small format in part sheets of 80 and the top values in large format in part sheets of 40, mostly fresh and fine but for crease affecting two 85 m. values, full unmounted og.
