postmarks, comprising twelve singles, noted; 1856 'UN REAL MC',
type 6, attached to small piece cancelled by rare "16 Bars"
handstamp in black, being a very late usage, also two 1877 3 c.
bright purple (Kneitschel 13), one type 3 with a crisp blue "UCUYA
/ CT. 77" datestamp cancel of 'MBURUCUYA', attractively positioned
leaving a clear profile, the other example being a dry printing
cancelled by a 'Caa-Cati' datestamp in black (creased), two 1876/79
3 c. bright rose-lilac (Kneitschel 14), type 6 and 5, with fine
part strikes of a black 'GOYA / CORRIENTES' datestamp, and five
cancelled by small oval bars cancel, one 2 c. bottle green
cancelled by "CORREOS DE CORRIENTES" circular datestamp, as well as
a 3 c. rose-red with part "CORRIENTES" c.d.s., additionally an
unused Scott 4a with gum, condition is good to fine, all with four
large margins, although some small thins which are not unusual on
these printings, very attractive and a scarce selection. Ex the
