Experimental Continuous-Impression Machine cancel in black. The
town die being in the continental style and with seven straight
bars. Top left of adhesive has clipped perfs. otherwise fine. A
rare example; one of three examples known. The piece comes with
seven other covers all with Krag cancellations from later trials
and usage. Note: The 'Krag' machine was the world's first
continuous-impression postmarking machines and was the innovation
of a Norwegian company 'Krag-Maskinfabrik A/S
