all with good margins for the issue, on cover from Kayseri to
Istanbul tied by dotted 'battal' handstamps in black. The cover
carried at 4 dirhems weight over a 149 route hour journey = 7½
piastres; with slight part of envelope at left but with full
original contents. A rare and most appealing first issue franking.
